Please Send Me Your Story
Do you have a story about how you changed what you believe in religiously? Please send it in so we all can learn from it! mpjmpj@BeliefStagesandGrowth.com
Most of the early stories on this site came from people who are writers. If you want to send in yours, please don’t worry if it’s not as eloquent as some of those already here. You can make it short or long - just no more than 1700 words please. And you can use your real name or not - as you prefer. Just send it to mpjmpj@beliefstagesandgrowth.com - you may need to cut and paste the E-mail address if it does not click right through. You can include your name - or do it anonymously - whichever you prefer!
By sending your story you are implying I have permission to post it. However, at any time you can request your story be removed and I will comply with your request within two weeks time.
Hoping to hear from you!

I like the detached, almost academic, approach you are taking on a very complex subject. In that vein, your objective (it seems objective to me anyway) inclusion of atheism is exactly “right on” because unbelief is just the other side of the same coin. Each addresses the age-old questions: Why are we here? This ultimately leads to the “Is there a God?” question.
I am currently reading a very interesting book called “The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief” by Francis Collins, the former leader of the Human Genome Project. In it he tries to objectively examine religious belief from a scientific, logical standpoint. Since, according to a recent survey, 60% of scientists classify themselves as either atheists or believers in a distant, impersonal God, he also examines both of these elements in his compelling treatise.
Doubt is a part of faith, not separate from faith. I congratulate you on examining both on this blog.
