Re-introducing myself….. by Margaret Johnston
No, I have not given up on my blog. I had the chance to travel to Alaska for six weeks to visit my husband. He has been called up to Active Duty in the Army and is spending the better part of a year in Fairbanks. I was lucky enough to get time off from my regular job for an extended visit. We toured around for a while but when he had to get back to work, I spent my days at the local library putting in serious effort toward my book. Mine is not an easy topic and I found the book was taking all my concentration. If I ever wanted to make serious progress on it, I would have to take a break from the blog.
Anyway, now I back home in Virigina and life is returning to normal (minus the husband) He will not be home until October. I am back at my regular job and have a few days a week to spend on this blog and/or my book. I will try to apportion my time more fairly between the two.
I am trying my darndest to write easily understandable extended explanations of each stage. I need these for the book as well as for the blog. To this end, I added a tab heading for “The Stages” last month. Actually I didn’t do it. My two sons are both in the IT field and while they were visiting us in Alaska, I had them do the change. (Such technical skills are beyond me.)
Anyway, it may be a few more weeks before I can fill in the explanations of each stage. Different parts of the book keep calling me to work on them. But I did want to share information here about an exciting book I read while in Alaska. More on that next post.
